This is the way to change my state-of-mind

By searching my experiences like forensics

Every fiber of taking is a self-lie

Deep within my indelible perspective

Adopt, alter, avoid, accept is my meditation

Comrade mental-chess is the state-of-mind

My enemies are those prejudicial to social-justice

I’m pushing to prove there narrative is a lie

Deep within our Ancestor’s perspective

My contribution wasted going in circles

All I wanted was to fulfill unmet needs

I just know my hearts made of purple

Yet I’ve hurt as many as I’ve healed

My brother says a new pledge is fertile

Undoing harm I’ve caused my community and self
