Poem: Still We Try by Greg Y. Shiga

April 8, 2026 by AOUON Contributor Leave a Comment

by Greg Y. Shiga, CSP-Corcoran

Still we try
Some may notice and cry
is it the first time
we have been for some time
more to it and more to do
picking up those to include too
cultural conflicts but for liberty
having been on the road with none fee
until the day we are all freed
justice earning every deed
